Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the quarry and plant.
• Conduct mechanical maintenance, fabrication, welding, and cutting.
• Disassemble, repair, rebuild, and reassemble mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Install bearings and utilize millwright skills as needed.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance including inspection and lubrication.
• Maintain safe work areas and operate mobile equipment as needed.

We are looking for a MAINTENANCE MECHANICAL TECHNCIAN to join our Newberry, FL location. As a Maintenance Mechanical Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will work as part of a team to keep equipment running through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

About the Role

• Preventative maintenance throughout the quarry and plant.
• Perform mechanical maintenance, fabrication, assembly, welding, and cutting.
• Perform disassembly, repair, rebuild, and reassembly of mechanical equipment and machinery.

About You

We Require:

• A minimum of 1-year of mechanical maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience operating mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts).
• Good organizational and math skills.
• Must be proficient in the English language
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in dusty environments and confined spaces.
