Job summary

The Judge Group seeks an Industrial Engineer for aerospace-focused process improvement in San Antonio. You will develop operating and recovery plans, model data, and apply Lean concepts to reduce costs and improve quality across production phases.

You will collaborate cross-functionally, analyze historical trends, and lead data-driven improvements. Prior aerospace experience and familiarity with IVT and Aurora are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with aircraft/aerospace environments.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (IVT).
• Experience using Boeing scheduling tools (Aurora).
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification preferred.
• Experience leading/time studies and presenting analytics to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develops Operating plans and Recovery plans as needed.
• Supports modeling, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data (stats, OR, trends, production impacts).
• Improves processes to enhance schedule performance, reduce cost, and improve quality via Lean/IE methods.
• Develops solutions to routine technical problems.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to gather data for process improvements; observes, documents, and collects data in manufacturing/aircraft production phases.
• Schedules work plans and conducts data analysis (historical, trends, production impacts) for staffing and process improvements.

Job description

• Develops Operating plans and Recovery plans as needed.
• Learn and support utilization and development of models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data (e.g., statistics, operations research, trend and production impacts).
• Improves processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality through the application of Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts.
• Develops solutions to routine technical problems.
• Collaborates cross functionally to gather data for process improvements. This may include observing, documenting processes, and collecting data in manufacturing areas or on aircraft during various production phases.
• Schedules work plans, conducts data analysis (historical, trends and production impacts), staffing and process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aircraft / Aerospace industry experience.
• Experience with 3D Computer aided design tools such as IVT.
• Experience with Boeing standard scheduling tools such as Aurora.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
• Experience conducting/leading Time studies and reporting out to leadership.
