Boeing Future of Flight is seeking Methods Process Analysts for a 6-month contract to support the Executive Fleet program. The role requires applying industrial engineering concepts to develop plans, analyses, and improvements in a high-pressure environment onsite in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities include building models, conducting capacity analyses, and driving Lean-related improvements across multi-functional teams while coordinating with various departments and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a factory environment with lean concepts.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, SAS, VBA, SQL, Minitab.

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking Methods Process Analysts to support the Executive Fleet program. Candidates should be comfortable working in a high pressure, fast paced environment. In this role you will have the opportunity to apply Industrial Engineering concepts to develop operating plans and recovery plans, conduct capacity and constraint-based analysis, develop and refine precedence networks, and conduct overall process effectiveness studies. You will also have opportunities to develop, implement, and improve processes focused on lowering costs and improving schedule performance and quality. Candidates must be able to operate within a multi-functional team, coordinating with various departments.

This position will be 100% onsite at the San Antonio, TX location. Candidate must be a US citizen.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops Operating plans and Recovery plans as needed.
• Develops models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data (e.g., statistics, operations research, trend and production impacts), and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to customers (e.g., management, senior leadership, other departments, suppliers).
• Develops, implements, and improves processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality through the application of Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts.
• Provides support to complete various projects as needed.
• Under general supervision, analyzes and designs value streams, including capability, capacity (e.g., make/buy, supplier selection, risk analysis, supplier performance), throughput, work flow and logistics (e.g., critical path, lead-time, transportation, factory layout).
• Candidate must be able to interact with other employees to gather data for process improvements. This may include observing, documenting processes, and collecting data in manufacturing areas or on aircraft during various production phases.
• Schedules work plans, conducts data analysis (historical, trends and production impacts), staffing and process improvements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience with Project Planning, Scheduling, Project Management.
• 2+ years of experience in a factory environment. Familiarity with Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Planning, engineering drawings and specifications, and lean concepts (certifications preferred).
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, SAS, VBA, SQL, Minitab

Preferred Qualifications

• Aircraft / Aerospace industry experience.
• Experience with 3D Computer aided design tools such as IVT.
• Experience with Boeing standard scheduling tools such as Aurora.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
• 2+ years of experience conducting/leading Time studies and reporting out to leadership.
• Cost Account Management experience with applied Earned Value Management principles.

Physical Requirements

• Able to walk, stand, and enter aircraft via steps or ladders. Able to lift up to 35lbs
