Young & Franklin Tool Works is seeking a Production Planning Specialist to own the production schedule for high‑complexity, high‑mix aerospace products and drive on‑time delivery. You will leverage Epicor/ERP data and dashboards to optimize the planning process and collaborate across teams.
The ideal candidate has a Six Sigma background, strong analytical skills, and experience with data tools like PowerBI and SQL.
Pay Range: $90,000 - $130,000

Position Summary Responsible for both production planning activities and process improvement initiatives to optimize the production planning process. Owns the production schedule for high-complexity, high-mix aerospace products, ensuring >95% on time delivery. Collaborates with colleagues to avoid bottlenecks in the manufacturing process and recommends recovery plans for missed milestones. Communicates and identifies achievable ship dates and/or delays in production to Sales & Marketing. Leverages data analytics and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize the production planning process. The ideal candidate will have exceptional problem-solving skills, hands‑on experience using database query tools to extract, analyze and present information through dashboards, and strong communication skills. Additionally, a strong background in Six Sigma methodologies, statistical analysis, and APICS certifications (CSCP or CPIM) would be highly beneficial.
