Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks an experienced IPS ITPM Specialist to develop and maintain Instrumented Protective System procedures for plant maintenance teams. You will ensure procedures meet regulatory and company standards, while coordinating with IPS Coordinators and Operations to minimize impact on operations.

The role requires 5+ years in the petrochemical industry, strong SAP/CMMS experience, and proficiency with instrumented systems and documentation.

• 5+ years experience in the petrochemical industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced coursework preferred.
• Experience creating and maintaining ITPM procedures.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS for preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Experience in chemical instrumentation industry.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure IPS ITPM procedures comply with regulatory, industry, and company standards.
• Standardize IPS ITPM procedures with new requirements.
• Coordinate with IPS Coordinators, Maintenance Techs, and Operations Reps.
• Field verify IPS instrumentation for PSI accuracy and required information.
• Determine best content to ensure reliability and safety during ITPM.
• Revise and/or remove IPS ITPM procedures as required.
• Review and submit information to create equipment records and PM plans in SAP.
• Redline and update PSI as required.
• Coordinate scheduling and testing of IPS ITPM.
• Assist with closure of gaps with codes and standards.
• Review plant equipment for inclusion in instrumented mechanical integrity program.

What You’ll Be Doing

Job Scope: Generally responsible for creating Instrumented Protective System (IPS) inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance (ITPM) procedures for use my plant maintenance personnel in ensuring full-functionality and reliability of IPS

Primary Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To

• Ensure IPS ITPM procedures are in compliance with applicable regulatory, industry, and company codes and standards such as and Required Manufacturing Standard, Lifecycle Management of Instrumented Protective Systems.
• Standardize the existing IPS ITPM procedures with the new requirements
• Work with facility IPS Coordinators, I/E/A Maintenance Technicians, and Operations Representatives to ensure the IPS ITPM procedures can be performed as written without significant affects to plant operations
• Field verify IPS instrumentation for:
  • PSI accuracy;
  • Applicable technical information required for the ITPM procedures, and;
  • Physical hazards to be identified in the associated procedures.
• Determine the best procedure content to ensure equipment reliability and personnel safety during the ITPM process
• Revise and/or remove IPS ITPM procedures as required throughout the IPS lifecycle
• Review and submit information required to create equipment records and preventative maintenance plans in SAP
• Redline and update PSI, as required
• Coordinate the scheduling and testing of IPS ITPM, as required
• Assist with the closure of gaps with applicable regulatory, industry, and company codes and standards, as required
• Reviewing plant equipment for inclusion in the instrumented mechanical integrity program

Ideal Background

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Advanced coursework is highly preferred.

Certification: No certification is required for this position.

Experience: This position requires 5+ years esperience in the pertro chemical industry

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Must be able to interpret highly technical information and disseminate into a procedure in a format that is easily understandable by non-technical personnel
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Prior experience with SAP and/or other CMMS used for preventative maintenance scheduling
• Prior experience with chemical instrumentation industry
• Prior experience creating and maintaining ITPM procedures
• AutoCAD experience/certification considered a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
