Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking a Procedure Support Tech I to work in the perioperative area under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse. This role supports the operating room team by inventorying, cleaning, assembling equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting with case carts as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and BCLS certification upon hire, with the ability to maintain a clean, safe environment and transport patients as

Responsibilities

• Performs patient and non-patient support activities under RN direction in the perioperative area.
• Inventorying, disassembling, cleaning, reassembling, and maintaining operating room equipment.
• Positioning patients, preparing for procedures, and assisting with case cart preparation as needed.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, orderly procedural environment and transports patients as required.
