Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate diploma (or equivalent)
• PREFERRED EDUCATION: 1 year of PCA/CNA
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year of scheduling experience (or related)
• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: or in a position as a scheduler
• REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: None
• PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: None
• REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): None

Responsibilities

• General Functions: Coordination of Center Schedule; Schedules clinical procedures with correct site and supplies; Registers patients via phone; Communicates patient needs and resource requirements; Validates credentials of providers; Manages block time and communicates with physician offices; Supports hospital leadership with scheduling decisions.
• Department/Business Unit Functions: Uses resources efficiently; Maintains safe environment; Addresses patient population-specific needs; Participates in Performance Improvement activities
