Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Waxahachie seeks an RN Supervisor for the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role oversees nursing and staff, ensures safe patient care, and partners with leadership to implement policies and budgets.

The Supervisor leads daily operations, supports governance and quality initiatives, and maintains professional practice across the team. On-site days, full-time with no on-call obligations.

Qualifications

• Must have: Strong physician relations, team building, GI/Pain procedures knowledge.
• Prior supervisor experience and OR/ASC experience preferred.
• RN license and BLS certification required.
• Hours: Full-time, days; 40 hours per week; no on-call.
• May assist GI Lab at the main hospital when needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned nursing and unit staff to ensure safe, caring patient care.
• Supports Nursing Manager in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating policies and procedures.
• Monitors budgets, resource allocation, and quality initiatives.
• Provides nursing care as needed and participates in governance councils.
