Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Procedural Registered Nurse (PRN Days) to join our patient‑centered team. You will assess patients, develop and adjust care plans, and educate patients and families while ensuring safe navigation of the healthcare system.

Requires minimum 1 year of procedural/outpatient RN experience, BLS certification, and ongoing professional growth. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and high‑quality patient care in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Procedural/Outpatient experience as an RN
• Pain Management experience highly preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and prioritize needs; create and adjust care plans for better results.
• Track indicators, participate in quality improvement initiatives and research-based changes.
• Educate patients and staff; integrate teaching into care at all levels.
• Apply systems thinking to solve problems for patients, families and staff.
• Contribute to decision-making and maintain professionalism in the work environment.
