Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Procedural Registered Nurse to oversee patient care using the nursing practice model. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans, with regular patient response assessments.

You will delegate tasks according to Texas nursing laws and collaborate with the care team to navigate the healthcare system, aiming to prevent complications and delays while supporting nursing practice and staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as an RN.
• Pain Management experience highly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and identify nursing diagnoses.
• Develop personalized care plans and regularly assess patient responses.
• Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws and staff skills.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and monitor indicators.
• Educate patients and staff as part of care.
• Support professional nursing practice and collaborate with the care team.
