Job summary

Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Procedural unit to support GI and Pain services. This circulating RN role focuses on patient care before, during, and after procedures, including IV starts, room preparation, and medications administration.

You will work on a 27-bed pre/post unit with 4 GI suites and 2 pain suites, delivering evidence-based nursing care, monitoring patients, and coordinating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
• Experience in GI or Pain clinic.
• 1 year of Pre/Post‑Anesthesia experience strongly preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care before and after anesthesia.
• Coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patients during procedures and administer medications as ordered.
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment, start IVs, and collect specimens.
