Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 36-hour workweek at the 84 South - Surgery Center in Milwaukee. This RN position focuses on pre/post‑anesthesia care, circulating for GI and Pain procedures, and coordinating patient care across the perioperative continuum.

Flexibility in start times (0600–0900) and a 4‑GI suite / 4‑pain suite environment support high‑volume, fast‑paced procedures. Prior GI or Pain experience is a plus, with on‑site scrubs provided and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Experience in GI or Pain clinic preferred.
• 1 year of Pre/Post-Anesthesia experience strongly preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
• Provide safe, high‑quality nursing care to patients before and after anesthesia in a perioperative setting.
