Job summary

Advocate Health’s 54-bed freestanding surgery center in Wisconsin seeks a skilled RN for Pre/Post anesthesia and procedural care. You will coordinate patient care before and after anesthesia, ensuring safety and a positive patient experience across GI, Pain, IR and OR floors.

ACLS/PALS certification is required, BLS mandatory, and GI or Pain clinic experience plus 1 year of Pre/Post‑Anesthesia experience is strongly preferred. Pediatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process to deliver safe, evidence-based care.
• Coordinate care across the surgical/ procedural continuum to ensure optimal patient outcomes and experience.
• Lead and communicate with the interdisciplinary team to maintain safety and high-quality perioperative care.
