Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for GI procedural services at South Shore Cudahy, WI. The role focuses on outpatient/inpatient GI procedures, with emphasis on patient care coordination and safety during pre-op, intra-procedure, and post-op phases.

The RN will join a team that supports colonoscopies, EGD, ERCP, EUS, and bronchoscopies, and requires an accredited nursing program, state RN license, BLS certification, and 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
• 1–2 years of Med/Surg, ICU, ED or perioperative nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
