Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Rowlett, TX seeks a Procedural Registered Nurse in the Day Surgery unit. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and oversee nursing diagnoses using the nursing practice model.

Hours are 6am–6pm, Monday–Friday, with on-call requirement and 30-minute hospital report. Responsibilities include delegating tasks, contributing to quality improvement, and teaching patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Accredited nursing program completion.
• TX RN license and current ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.
• Experience in Day Surgery, procedural, medical-surgical, or step-down settings preferred.

As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses. Contributions help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the system. This prevents complications and delays. Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.
