Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Clinical Procedure Technician in Burlington, MA. Under RN supervision, you will assist with procedures, prep rooms, and monitor patients from pre to post-procedure across the peri-procedural period.

You will perform EKGs as delegated, maintain sterile technique, and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR. This role emphasizes infection control, patient safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during procedures with equipment and patient safety.
• Prepare procedural rooms and ensure readiness of supplies.
• Use sterile technique to set up for procedures and prep patient.
• Take vital signs and report abnormalities to RN.
• Perform ECGs as delegated by RN.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and notify RN/MD.
• Record test results in EMR and related systems.
• Keep equipment and decontamination areas clean and functioning.
• Restock labs and supplies for next day’s procedures.
• Cross-train as Unit Coordinator and manage case scheduling in Epic.
• Maintain high-level disinfection and proper labeling/storage of probes.
• Follow hospital policies and participate in quality improvement.
