Qualifications

• BLS-AHA required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsibilities

• Performs competently and safely in clinical tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, wound care, splinting, crutch walking, activities of daily living and post-mortem care.
• Performs lab testing and specimen collection per protocol and documents results in the medical record.
• Performs vital signs per protocol and documents interventions in the medical record.
• Performs visual acuity testing and reports results to clinical staff.
• Performs oxygen saturation testing and reports results to clinical staff.
