Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a probation officer.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operation of the assigned Probation Services Section and acts as first line of communication for after-hours emergencies.
• Monitors show-up records, arrests, and participation in court programs; staff recommendations on sanctions.
• Staff supervision: assign, review, and ensure compliance with court policies and standards.
• Monitors leave, conducts performance evaluations, and handles disciplinary actions for staff.
• Contributes to policy development and analyzes data to improve operations.
• Participates in interviews, training, and staff development; may act for Probation Services Manager.
