Job summary

Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience in probation, parole, or corrections-related roles.
• Possession of a valid vehicle operator's license.

Responsibilities

• Investigates offender's home/work environments and compiles/reviews data for reports and records.
• Counsels offenders in homes, places of employment or confinement; attends court for assignments and reporting.
• Assists in vocational/educational/social adjustment planning; cooperates with public/private agencies and law enforcement; investigates violations.
• Prepares statistical reports; administers tests; supports investigations and committees; duties evolve with experience.
• Completes safety training and maintains re-qualification annually; drive as required.
