Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise misdemeanor probationers and ensure compliance with court mandates.
• Collect court fines and fees.
• Review reports to ensure probationer compliance with policy.
• Prepare data for revocation hearings.
• Attend probation hearings when necessary.
• Update case management system with probationer information.
• Prepare cases for modification and file reviews.
• Prepare Violation of Probation Reports and submit to courts.
• Close cases in a timely manner per court and policy.
• Conduct drug/alcohol tests as needed.
• Assist in court/jail intake processes.
• Act as liaison between courts and judges on cases.
• Mentor new probation officers and conduct on‑the‑job training.
• Conduct caseload audits to ensure compliance with rules.
• Travel may be required.
• Install house arrest/alcohol monitoring equipment when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
