The City of Auburn, WA is seeking two Probation Officers to join the Auburn Municipal Court's Probation Services Division. You will manage caseloads, conduct assessments, and administer court-ordered programs while promoting public safety and accountability within the community.
Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least two years of probation/corrections experience, with strong communication and de-escalation skills.
This position is open until filled, with a first review date of October 1, 2026.
The Auburn Municipal Court is looking for two (2) Probation Office rs to add to the team! Be a part of the rewarding Probation Services Division of Auburn Municipal Court. As a member of the Probation Services team, you will provide tools, resources, and support to justice-involved individuals while promoting public safety and accountability within the community. The Court has a shared vision of providing trust, innovation, and accessibility to court users, and these values extend to Probation Services. The division uses evidence-based practices and techniques to enforce court orders, promote accountability, and provide meaningful options and resources to clients.

This position will be required to be fingerprinted and complete the CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) Security Certification Test to be allowed to view sensitive information and have unescorted access while at the Police Department (per Washington State Patrol ACCESS unit).
