Job summary

State of North Carolina is seeking a Judicial Services Coordinator (S) to manage intake for supervised and deferred cases, coordinate data entry, and assign offenders for supervision in county courthouses. The role involves court contact, interpreter needs assessment, and ADA accommodations, with extensive interaction with judges, attorneys, and community partners.

The incumbent will use OPUS, CSAS, ICOTS, FMS and AOC systems, ensuring accurate case processing and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, human services, psychology, or related field
• Two years’ experience in the court system, paralegal work, or other directly related experience
• Four years of related experience; GED acceptable

Responsibilities

• Interviewing offenders
• Entering data into software system
• Assigning offenders for supervision
• Determining interpreter services needs
• Identifying ADA accommodations
• Providing reporting instructions to offenders
• Processing intrastate and interstate transfer cases
• Monitor compliance of supervised/community service offenders
• Liaising with court staff, judges, lawyers, Clerk of Court
