County of Sacramento is seeking a Probation Division Chief to plan, organize, and direct the staff and program of a Probation Division. The incumbent will oversee criminal justice-related probation services for adults and juveniles, ensuring compliance with laws and department policies.

This leadership role requires experience in supervision, program development, budgeting, and collaboration with courts and community resources.

Qualifications

• Two years full-time experience in the class of Supervising Probation Officer or higher.
• Graduation from an accredited college and six years experience in probation, parole, correction, case work, or related field, two years at Supervising level or higher.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize and direct the staff and program of a division of the Probation Department.
• Develop and implement probation programs for juvenile and adult populations.
• Ensure compliance with governing laws and department policies.
• Supervise and evaluate personnel; manage resource allocation and budgeting.
