Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Significant supervisory experience in a probation department.
• Knowledge of the criminal court system, probation and parole, juvenile justice, and correctional systems.
• Knowledge of dual control cash handling, financial audits, grant writing, and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Adult and Juvenile Probation Divisions.
• Lead and manage personnel and operations of the probation department.
• Administer bookings, pretrial services, house arrest, drug testing, and juvenile programs.
• Develop and implement department policies and procedures.
• Manage a budget of over fourteen million dollars.
• Report to the District Court Administrator and President Judge.
