Job summary

Perkins Coie LLP seeks a Probate Paralegal for our Private Client Services team. The role supports attorneys, coordinates client conferences, and manages asset allocation and trust funding. Strong knowledge of WA probate procedures is required, with emphasis on confidentiality and professional conduct.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years' probate/trust administration experience, and familiarity with tax preparation software. Paralegal certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of probate and trust administration in a law firm preferred.
• Recent experience with tax preparation software.
• Paralegal Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client conferences and assist attorneys in preparing for meetings.
• Administer allocation of assets and trust funding and coordinate asset transfers.
• Prepare federal and state estate tax returns and federal gift tax returns.
• Maintain knowledge of probate proceedings in Washington state.
• Keep accurate time records and attend work as scheduled.
• Provide excellent client service and maintain confidentiality.
