Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Estate Planning & Probate Paralegal in Florida. You will work closely with attorneys on sophisticated estate planning, probate, and trust matters, handling Florida probate administration from inception to closing.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of estate planning probate paralegal experience, familiarity with Florida e‑filing, and strong organizational and client-service abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of estate planning and probate paralegal experience, preferably in a Florida law firm.
• Strong knowledge of Florida probate court procedures and estate administration.
• Experience drafting probate pleadings and estate planning documents.
• Familiarity with Florida e‑Filing requirements and probate court systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and client-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of estate planning, probate administration, and trust administration matters.
• Prepare estate planning documents (trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, healthcare directives).
• Draft and file probate pleadings, petitions, notices, inventories, and accountings.
• Coordinate probate and trust administration from opening through closing.
• Communicate with personal representatives, trustees, beneficiaries, and financial institutions.

We are seeking an experienced Estate Planning & Probate Paralegal. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, clients, financial advisors, and fiduciaries on sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and significant experience handling Florida probate administration matters from inception through closing. Probate experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of estate planning, probate administration, and trust administration matters.
• Prepare estate planning documents, including:
  • Revocable and irrevocable trusts
  • Wills
  • Durable powers of attorney
  • Healthcare surrogate designations
  • Living wills and related documents
• Draft and prepare probate pleadings, petitions, notices, inventories, accountings, and supporting court filings.
• Coordinate and manage probate and trust administration matters from opening through closing.
• Prepare and electronically file documents with Florida courts.
• Gather, organize, and maintain estate and trust asset information.
• Communicate regularly with personal representatives, trustees, beneficiaries, financial institutions, accountants, and other professional advisors.
• Assist with estate funding, asset transfers, and beneficiary designations.
• Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court requirements.
• Conduct factual research and assist with client intake and estate administration procedures.
• Ensure compliance with firm procedures and applicable probate court rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of estate planning and probate paralegal experience, preferably in a Florida law firm.
• Required experience handling Florida probate administrations.
• Strong knowledge of probate court procedures, estate administration, and trust administration.
• Experience drafting probate pleadings and estate planning documents.
• Familiarity with Florida e‑Filing requirements and probate court systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and client service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Paralegal certificate preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience with taxable estates, trust funding, and advanced estate planning matters.
• Familiarity with fiduciary accounting and estate asset administration.
• Experience working with high‑net‑worth individuals and families.
