Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of legal procedures.
• Experience in providing excellent customer service, both in person and over the telephone.
• Experience with cash handling.
• Experience with multi‑tasking and interruptions.
• Experience in applying rules and regulations to processing documents.
• Ability to handle stressful and sometimes hostile situations with tact.
• Ability to uphold rules and procedures regarding confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage probate and domestic violence/stalking case types in their entirety.
• Review petitions for rule compliance and determine appropriate action.
• Process and distribute orders and notices; docket orders and schedule events.
• Update parties and track files for mandatory follow‑up events.
• Maintain a cash drawer for filing fees and transactions.
• Cross‑train with DV and children’s desk duties and provide coverage.
