Our Probate and Estate Planning Paralegal handles the vital clerical and client communication matters that help ensure we can provide effective legal support. Working under the attorney's supervision, you'll accurately draft, review, and organize probate and estate-planning documentation before the established deadlines. You'll manage court filings, hearings, client appointments, and follow-up activities while maintaining accurate digital case files, Mind Maps, and calendars in Clio and Google Drive.
Throughout each case, you'll provide comprehensive support to client and deliver timely progress updates. The Probate and Estate Planning Paralegal works with courts, creditors, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and other professionals to help keep cases moving and support timely resolution. We need a meticulous, organized, and results-focused person who can guide clients through sensitive legal matters with professionalism and compassion.
Our ideal Probate and Estate Planning Paralegal has an associate/bachelor's degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent legal work experience. Texas notary certification (or willingness to obtain) would be a plus. Preference will be given to applicants experienced with or knowledgeable about Texas probate, estate-planning, and guardianship matters. Familiarity with Clio, Google Workspace, e-filing systems, and digital case-management tools is also beneficial.
