Oklo Inc. is seeking a Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara, CA.

You will conduct probabilistic risk analyses to support fast reactor design, licensing, deployment, and operations, collaborating with engineering groups to develop event trees, fault trees, and quantify event sequence probabilities. You will apply PRA techniques to evaluate external hazards, drive design improvements for reliability and safety, and support licensing through technical reports

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of work experience in PRA or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in nuclear, mechanical, aerospace engineering, or similar.
• Familiarity with PRA techniques and risk analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop probabilistic risk analysis models of fast reactor designs.
• Analyze event sequences and compile risk insights with engineering teams.
• Evaluate external hazards using PRA techniques.
• Incorporate risk insights into design to improve reliability and safety.
• Support licensing activities through technical reports and analyses.
