Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance to support the maintenance supervisor and protect the property's physical integrity. You will work with the leasing team to maximize renewals and leasing opportunities, ensuring all duties align with company policies and safety standards.

The role requires at least two years of apartment maintenance experience or a trade with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests within 24 hours.
• Assist in daily maintenance and safety compliance.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance and make-ready status.
• Assist in inspections and stand-by emergency coverage.
• Perform basic repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.
