Qualifications

• 7+ years of private household or estate management experience.
• Experience managing a high-value private residence.
• Strong knowledge of residential property operations and preventative maintenance.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and complex household projects.
• Comfort with renovation, construction, or property improvement projects.
• Experience developing and leading household staff.
• Financial awareness with budgets, invoices, and vendor expenditure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation and presentation of the residence.
• Ensure the property is maintained to exceptional standards.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and property schedules.
• Conduct walkthroughs and identify maintenance or operational issues.
• Coordinate repairs, servicing, and ongoing maintenance of household systems.
• Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Source, assess, and engage new vendors when required.
• Review proposals, oversee work, and ensure projects meet standards.
• Manage household projects, renovations, installations, and property improvements.
• Maintain records relating to warranties, service agreements, and inventories.
• Develop and maintain household procedures, calendars, and operating systems.
• Oversee inventories, supplies, purchasing, and organization.
• Coordinate household staff and schedules.
