Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our field team supporting mine sites across the region. You will maintain equipment, perform pre-operation inspections, and uphold Turner Values while advancing safe production and efficiency.

The role requires willingness to travel on short notice, flexibility for day and night shifts, and a strong emphasis on safety, housekeeping, and proactive maintenance. Excellent communication with crews and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to adhere to OSHA / MSHA regulatory requirements.
• 1–3 years’ experience in mining / heavy industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of safety systems and processes.
• Attention to detail and high safety standards.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality pre-operation machine inspections.
• Maintain and service mining equipment and attachments.
• Document maintenance and training checklists.
• Assist with risk assessments and regulatory training.
• Support housekeeping and equipment accountability.
• Participate in near-miss reporting and safety initiatives.
