Sage-Haus is seeking a Household Manager & Family Assistant with childcare support in Washington, DC. This part-time position runs 18–20 hours weekly on Mon, Wed, Thu (2:00 PM–8:30 PM) with potential date-night coverage and overnights as needed.

Compensation is $30–$35 per hour, based on experience. Start ASAP. Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to pick up children from school three days per week.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Family support: school pick-ups three times per week; light supervision and back-up childcare in afternoons/evenings; prepare for extracurricular activities.
• Household management: create and maintain organization systems; prepare home for cleaners; light tidying; seasonal swaps and packing travel.
• Deep cleaning & projects: assist with occasional deep cleans and larger organization projects (fridge, pantry).
• Inventory & errands: restock pantry and supplies; manage household lists; assist with subscriptions and returns; handling mail and packages.
• Meal planning & prep: plan and cook ready-to-eat dinners for kids; pack school lunches; grocery shopping and snack prep.
• Laundry & linen care: manage full laundry system; linen rotation; keep laundry areas tidy.
• Administrative support: monitor family calendar; track receipts/budget for household expenses; background check required.
