Job summary

Sage Haus is hiring a Part-Time House Manager / Family Assistant in Huntington Woods, MI. The role is 16–22 hours per week with core hours 2:00 PM–6:00 PM and some flexibility for travel periods. Compensation is $30–$35 per hour, with accrued PTO, designated holidays, and sick leave.

Start ASAP, with a focus on child logistics, household organization, meals, errands, and calendar coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, tech-savvy, and comfortable supporting two-career parents.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Vaccinations up to date per guidelines (subject to legal accommodations).
• Driver's license and safe driving record required.
• Familiarity with ADHD and executive-function challenges.
• High level of discretion and trustworthiness.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs; navigate a split-level home.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage afternoon school pick-ups, drop-offs, carpools, and alternative transportation.
• Provide local school pick-up for one child 3–4 times per week and occasional pick-ups for the other; handle after-school transportation.
• Maintain systems for backpacks, assignments, routines, transportation needs, and deadlines.
• Monitor school apps and provide proactive reminders to parents.
• Provide age-appropriate homework support and foster independence for younger child.
• Coordinate evening/overnight childcare when parents travel.
• Handle occasional child-related errands (gifts, clothing, school supplies).
• Perform routine household resets (dishwasher, surfaces, common areas).
• Create and maintain organizational systems and prep home for deeper cleans.
• Coordinate with weekly housekeeper and prep for guests/visits.
• Water plants; maintain kitchen appliances; manage waste and recycling.
