Job summary

Wendy's Delight Restaurant Group is seeking a dependable maintenance technician to perform scheduled preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment. You will help ensure reliability, efficiency, and safety while minimizing downtime and costly repairs.

Responsibilities include inspecting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, monitoring critical equipment, making minor repairs, documenting work, following safety protocols, and seeking continuous improvements to extend

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems preferred.
• No experience required, prior experience a plus.
• Ability or willingness to learn to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and other building systems according to a preventive maintenance schedule.
• Track performance of critical equipment (chillers, boilers, generators, pumps, etc.) and identify signs of wear, leaks, or malfunctions.
• Make minor repairs or adjustments to prevent system failures; elevate technical issues to licensed trades as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance work, inspections, and equipment performance. Report findings and recommendations to management.
• Follow all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies when performing maintenance tasks.
• Ensure proper care of tools, maintenance supplies, and spare parts.
• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, reduce downtime, and extend equipment life.
