Job summary

Wendy's Delight Restaurant Group is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform technical maintenance and repairs across building systems, ensuring safe, efficient operation of facility infrastructure. You will diagnose issues, repair chillers, boilers, pumps, generators, and kitchen/industrial appliances while documenting activities.

The role requires 2+ years in technical maintenance, ability to read schematics, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; technical certification or trade experience preferred (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
2+ years of experience in technical maintenance or facilities management.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving history.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Maintain and repair critical facility equipment, including chillers, boilers, pumps, generators, and kitchen or industrial appliances.
Identify root causes of system failures and perform repairs to restore functionality efficiently.
Assist PM Technicians when tasks require more technical expertise or complex intervention.
Follow company and regulatory safety protocols; ensure equipment and tools are maintained properly.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Respond to urgent facility issues requiring technical expertise.
Assist with special projects or other technical tasks as assigned.
