Job summary

Avon Fields Golf Course in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Part-Time Pro Shop Attendant/Outside Service to greet guests, process reservations, manage shop inventory, and assist with tee times. As part of Troon, you will work in a hospitality-focused environment.

Responsibilities include handling payments, maintaining a clean facility, and helping with cart operations and pace of play. Must be coachable with basic computer skills and golf knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Processes customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
• Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite the check-in process.
• Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed.
• Collects green and cart fees and processes transactions in the POS system.
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe workplace.
• Assists with reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register.
• Ensures property and its amenities are secured daily.
• Performs related duties as assigned by the General Manager.
• Welcomes and greets guests and players in a friendly manner.
• Explains rules and course etiquette to all groups when needed.
• Washes and sanitizes the golf cart fleet; maintains organized storage areas and practice facility.
• Assists with setup and organization of golf carts and equipment for regular tee time starts or outings.
• Facilitates an orderly and timely pace of play to prevent delays.
• Answers all questions in a friendly manner.
• Keeps a record of starting times and golf cart numbers for each group when necessary.
• Ensures that each group has four players if possible.
• Collects and cleans practice balls when scheduled.

Key Responsibilities

When acting as an \"Inside\" staff member:

• Processes customer reservations for guests of the golf course
• Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite the check-in process
• Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed
• Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes transactions in the POS system as trained
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe workplace
• Assists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register at the close of day
• Ensures property and its amenities are secured daily
• Assists with the setup of equipment and golf carts
• Performs related duties as assigned by the General Manager
