Responsibilities

• Assist with upkeep of clubhouse, cart storage, and parking lot.
• Set up and execute golf tournaments and outings.
• Provide courteous service to guests, including bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintain cart staging area, including podium and bag drop.
• Keep cart storage and washdown areas neat and orderly.
• Prepare golf carts for play following Troon Golf standards.
• Educate players on course policies, cart policies, and pace of play.
• Assist guests with spike changes and range maintenance.
• Stock practice balls, bag stands, den caddies, and inventory.
• Direct the start of play when necessary.
• Maintain rental club records and service rented clubs.
• Assist with food and beverage activities and club cleaning.
• Maintain safety practices and perform other duties as required.

The Golf Club at Lansdowne, located in Lansdowne, VA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Outside Operations Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less).

Pay Range:

$12.77 to $13.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot
• Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings
• Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning
• Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area
• Maintains the cart storage area and cart washdown area in a neat, clean, and orderly condition
• Prepares golf carts for play following the standards of Troon Golf
• Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play, and similar guidelines
• Assists players by changing their golf spikes, if needed
• Performs range maintenance such as stocking the practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies, and/or ball pyramids, and maintains ball inventory over the course of the day
• Directs the start of play when necessary
• Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs
• Services the customer who is renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return
• Assists with food and beverage activities
• Cleans golfers' clubs upon completion of play
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Performs other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; and six months to one year of customer service experience or training

Other Qualifications

Regular and reliable attendance

Availability on weekdays, weekends, early mornings, late evenings, and holidays

Early spring and fall availability is a plus

Must have a valid driver's license
