Job summary

Neumann Golf Course in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a part-time Proshop Attendant to join Troon’s hospitality-driven team. You’ll help guests with reservations, check-in, and friendly service, and assist with displaying inventory in the golf shop.

Evening shifts up to 10 PM, cash handling, POS transactions, equipment setup, cart cleaning, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Golf knowledge is a plus, and you’ll work under the General Manager’s direction.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be coachable and have basic computer skills.
• Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of the game of golf preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in.
• Arrange and display golf shop inventory as necessary and directed.
• Collect greens and cart fees and process them in the POS system as trained.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe workplace.
• Assist in the reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register at close.
• Ensure the property and its amenities are secured daily.
• Assist with setup of equipment and golf carts.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the General Manager.
• As an outside staff member, welcome and greet guests and players in a friendly manner.
• Explain rules and course etiquette to groups as needed.
• Wash and sanitize golf cart fleet; maintain organized storage areas and practice facility.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Schedule:

Must be able to work evenings till at least 10 PM

Key Responsibilities:

When Acting as an \"Inside\" Staff Member:

• Responsible for processing customer reservations for guests of the golf course


• Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite the check-in process


• Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed


• Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes them in the POS system as trained


• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe workplace


• Assists in the reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register at the close of the day


• Ensures the property and its amenities are secured daily


• Assists with the setup of equipment and golf carts


• Performs related duties as assigned by the General Manager

When Acting as an \"Outside\" Staff Member:

• Responsible for welcoming and greeting guests and players in a friendly manner


• Explains rules and course etiquette to all groups as needed


• Washes and sanitizes the golf cart fleet; maintains organized storage areas and the practice facility


• Assists with the setup and organization of golf carts and equipment for regular tee times and outings


• Facilitates an orderly and timely pace of play to prevent delays


• Answers all questions in a friendly manner; keeps a record of starting times and golf cart numbers for each group when necessary


• Ensures that each group has four players whenever possible


• Responsible for picking up and cleaning practice balls as scheduled


• Ensures the property and its amenities are secured daily


• Performs related duties as assigned by the General Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Must be coachable and have basic computer skills

Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic

Knowledge of the game of golf preferred
