Job summary

Troon is seeking a part-time Outside Service Attendant for New Berlin Hills Golf Course in New Berlin, WI. This seasonal position (approximately 6 months) offers an hourly wage and a chance to grow in golf club operations.

Responsibilities include course side support, helping with tournaments, guest service, and maintaining equipment and facilities. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required; prior customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage, and parking lot.
• Assist in setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provide courteous service to all guests including bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintain cart staging area and cart wash-down areas in neat condition.
• Prepare golf carts for play according to Troon standards.
• Educate players on course and cart policies and pace of play.
• Assist players with spike changes as needed.
• Perform range maintenance and keep practice facilities stocked.
• Direct the start of play when necessary.
• Maintain records of golfers renting clubs.
• Service and clean rental clubs after use.
• Assist with food and beverage activities.

Description

New Berlin Hills Golf Course, located in New Berlin, WI, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Outside Service Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Pay:

$10.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot.
• Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
• Maintains the cart storage area and cart wash-down area in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
• Prepares golf carts for play following the standards of Troon.
• Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, and speed of play.
• Assists players by changing their golf spikes, if needed.
• Performs range maintenance, including presenting the practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies, or ball pyramids, and maintaining ball inventory over the course of the day.
• Directs the start of play when necessary.
• Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
• Services customers renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return.
• Assists with food and beverage activities.
• Cleans golfers' clubs upon completion of play.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED; and six months to one year of customer service experience or training.

Certificates/Licenses:

Valid driver's license required.
