Job Summary:

Little Ocmulgee State Park is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Part-Time Pro Shop Associate to join our golf operations team. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all golf guests and park visitors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a love of the outdoors, and an interest in golf.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor

• Handle golf tee time reservations and check-ins using POS systems

• Sell merchandise, golf equipment, and snacks from the pro shop

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pro shop and display areas

• Assist with inventory control and restocking merchandise

• Provide information about the golf course, park amenities, and upcoming events

• Monitor pace of play and communicate with on-course staff as needed

• Assist with tournament prep, scoring, and other special events

• Enforce course rules and promote park policies

• Perform light cleaning duties and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Prior customer service, cash handling, or retail experience is a plus

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

• Interest or knowledge of golf is helpful, but not required

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced, customer-facing environment

• Indoor/outdoor work with occasional exposure to varying weather conditions

• May require standing for extended periods and light lifting (up to 25 lbs)
