Job summary

Lowe’s in Columbia, SC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products and services for home improvement needs. You will listen to customers, answer questions, and ensure their needs are met throughout the shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience using a computer and common retail tech such as smartphones or tablets.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• RetaiI/customer service experience preferred (6 months).
• Bi-lingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock merchandise and replenish shelves as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time arrival.
• Cross-train in other areas to enhance customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise to meet customer needs (e.g., paint, plumbing, wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout and handle other duties as assigned.
