Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers in a fast-paced retail environment. You will build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase average transaction value.

Responsibilities include safe driving, using the delivery board system and inventory tools, stocking, and providing excellent customer service while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends.
• Read and interpret safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Basic math for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products
• Maintain store cleanliness
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
