Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns, and drop off sales flyers while promoting current programs.

You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and assist in upselling products to increase transaction value. You will also assist with inventory, store cleanliness, and engaging with walk-in customers to assess needs and suggest solutions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and to perform physical tasks.
• Fluent English; Spanish a plus and good communication.
• Able to read safety rules, parts catalogs and instructions.
• Basic math skills for transactions and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; provide CPP insights from deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and handle stocking tasks including back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
