Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns, drop off weekly sales flyers, and collect credits daily. You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while sharing insights learned during deliveries.

Maintain inventory knowledge, upsell and cross-sell products to raise transaction value, keep the store clean, stock parts, assist walk‑in customers and promote today’s offers.

Qualifications

• Safe driving and navigation abilities required.
• Ability to use delivery board system.
• Friendly and persuasive communication.
• Safety knowledge and skills.
• Operating inventory systems (Back stock) and store equipment.
• Sales aptitude and customer service orientation.
• Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
