Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns and cores, and distribute weekly sales flyers while promoting loyalty programs.

You will also engage with MainStreet and National Pro customers, collect credit information daily, and assist in upselling to increase average transaction value. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and inventory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately across units, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned on deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross‑selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk‑in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
