Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers and to handle returns and cores. You will promote current sales and loyalty programs and collect daily credit accounts, while building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro clients.

The role emphasizes upselling, maintaining store appearance, stocking, and assisting customers with product knowledge and services. Valid license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
