Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and to pick up returns and cores. You will promote current sales and loyalty programs while maintaining a clean, organized store and stock rooms.

You will engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services, and support weekly/monthly promotions. Strong communication, safety awareness, and ability to handle physical tasks are required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math for transactions in all units of measure.
• Willing to work a variety of days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend solutions.
• Operate inventory systems and store equipment.
