Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Norwood, MA is seeking a parts driver responsible for picking, staging and delivering parts to pro customers, collecting returns, and supporting store promotions.

You will help promote loyalty programs and ensure accurate credit handling while maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The role requires strong customer service, safe driving, ability to upsell, and knowledge of automotive parts.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasional up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
