Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is hiring for a Driver role focused on pro customers in Holyoke. You will pick, stage, and safely deliver parts, promote current sales, collect credits, and build strong relationships with key pro accounts.

The position requires safe driving, strong customer service, and basic inventory and sales skills. Expect a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends, with a focus on helping customers find the right parts and services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Walk-in customer service and sales experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to pro customers and stage orders.
• Handle returns and cores.
• Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers and promote loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize shelves and stock.
• Stock back stock and perform cycle counts.
• Assist customers by identifying parts or services needed.
